Softball Recap: Landstown Eagles vs. Salem Sundevils

Landstown won against Tallwood on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Eagles blew past the Salem Sundevils 8-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 back in March.

Hailey Akers made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
