It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but South Kingstown ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 17-7 margin over the Burrillville Broncos. The Rebels' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Tessa O'Sullivan, who went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Jillian Kavanagh, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: South Kingstown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

South Kingstown's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6. As for Burrillville, they dropped their record down to 4-5 with the loss, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, South Kingstown will challenge Narragansett at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Burrillville, they will face off against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
