 Bunceton fell victim to St. Elizabeth and their airtight pitching crew  on Wednesday. They lost  10-0 to the St. Elizabeth Hornets. The  loss   continues a  trend for Bunceton in their matchups with St. Elizabeth: they've now lost four in a row.
 For St. Elizabeth's part,  Gavin Williams was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out ten over five innings pitched. Williams has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances. Williams was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing three bases while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Isaac Green was  excellent,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Blake Wobbe, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 Bunceton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for St. Elizabeth, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 13 of their last 15 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record  this season.
 As of now, neither Bunceton nor St. Elizabeth have any future games scheduled.
