John Paul II Catholic gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 6-4 win over the Cary Christian Knights. It was an even better day for Sebastian Aranda as he scored three goals for his team.

Coming up, John Paul II Catholic will square off against High Point Christian Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Cary Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Thales Academy Apex at 4:00 p.m. on the 19th.
