Volleyball Recap: Washington County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Washington County can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Moundridge Wildcats on Monday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Anna Goeckel paced Washington County's offense, picking up six kills. Goeckel got some help from Jayden Laflen and her eight assists.

Washington County's loss dropped their record down to 10-25. As for Moundridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-2-1 record this season.

Washington County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Central Christian Academy on the 20th. As for Moundridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Inman on the 20th.
