Softball Recap: Mammoth Comes Up Short

Mammoth lost to Boron back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Huskies came up short against the Bobcats, falling 18-3.

Mammoth's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Boron, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mammoth will face off against California City at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Ravens have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups. As for Boron, they will challenge Rosamond at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Roadrunners have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
