Recap: Bishop Manogue Miners vs. Oak Ridge Trojans
The Bishop Manogue Miners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They fell 68-55 to Oak Ridge. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Bishop Manogue had strong showings from James Williams, who scored 14 points, and Kaden Rowe, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. The match was Rowe's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Liam Sorensen was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Bishop Manogue's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Oak Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
Bishop Manogue and Spanish Springs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Spanish Springs has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Oak Ridge, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Whitney at 7:30 p.m.
