Baseball Recap: Milan Comes Up Short

Milan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Marceline Tigers, falling 18-2. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 9-7 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Milan's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Marceline, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Looking ahead, Milan will challenge Polo at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Marceline has already played their next contest (against Bishop LeBlond), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
