The Webster County Highlanders are taking a road trip to challenge the Pocahontas County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Webster County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.

While Webster County's victory against Ravenswood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Highlanders narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Red Devils 4-3. The victory was familiar territory for Webster County, who have now won three contests in a row.

Parker Miller and Cullen Brown scored all four of Webster County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 29 goals.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last matchup, Pocahontas County made sure to put some goals up on the board against Midland Trail on Thursday. They never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Pocahontas County's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Pocahontas County's victory bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Webster County, their win bumped their record up to 6-8-3.

Webster County might still be hurting after the 8-2 defeat they got from Pocahontas County when the teams last played back in September. Can the Highlanders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
