Volleyball Recap: Las Lomas Takes a Loss

Las Lomas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Amador Valley Dons. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Dons from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

While Las Lomas ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 25-21.

Bryson Boydstun-Eaton paced Las Lomas' offense, picking up 11 kills. Boydstun-Eaton got some help from Tate Thompson and his 24 assists. Finally, Boydstun-Eaton was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Las Lomas' loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Amador Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Las Lomas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Northgate on the 17th. As for Amador Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against San Ramon Valley on the 18th.
