Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Lockport + How To Watch

Lockport entered their tilt with Hinsdale Central on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Red Devils. The Porters have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Red Devils, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 29-27.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lockport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emma Consigny, who had 12 digs and three assists. Those 12 digs gave Consigny a new career-high. Bridget Ferriter also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Lockport's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Hinsdale Central, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Lockport will take on Fenwick in a tournament on Friday. As for Hinsdale Central, they will head out to square off against Oak Park-River Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
