Basketball Recap: South Milwaukee Comes Up Short

South Milwaukee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 57-32 to the Whitnall Falcons. The contest was a close 20-18 at the break, but unfortunately for the Rockets it sure didn't stay that way.

Despite the loss, South Milwaukee still got an impressive performance from Ivan Cotto, who posted 12 points.

South Milwaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Whitnall, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Milwaukee will challenge Greendale at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Whitnall, they will square off against Milwaukee Juneau at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
