Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Western Branch). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Deep Creek Hornets 83-50. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 71-61 back in December of 2024.

Western Branch found their leader in sophomore Tashawn Cuffee, who posted 21 points. Camryn Clark was another key player, putting up 14 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Western Branch and bumps their season record up to 5-8. As for Deep Creek, they dropped their record down to 4-12 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home.

Western Branch has already played their next game, a 66-61 win against Tallwood on the 1st. As for Deep Creek, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 68-48 loss against Princess Anne on the 1st.
