Basketball Recap: Rawlins Comes Up Short

Rawlins lost against Lander Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rawlins Outlaws were dealt a 61-33 defeat at the hands of the Lander Valley Tigers. The Outlaws were down 45-22 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

When it comes to explaining why Rawlins lost, don't look at Damien Vialpando. Despite the final result, he posted ten points.

Rawlins' loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lander Valley, they pushed their record up to 6-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rawlins will host Buffalo at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Lander Valley, they will be playing at home against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
