Denmark-Olar lost to Allendale-Fairfax 50-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Estill's dynamic duo of DeAngelo Bryant and Rashad McGraw proved to be unstoppable against Whale Branch, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bryant threw for 46 yards and McGraw had 32 yards receiving.
Bryant was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Fighting Gators topped the Warriors. The 5-foot-8 junior grabbed 2 interceptions.
Austin Hobby was a passing and rushing force as Branchville beat Lincoln.
The Vikings' 6-foot-1 quarterback Ricco Parler is the league leader in passing yards this season with 293. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jamar Scott. The Whale Branch star has 7 catches for 117 yards.
The top two teams in A Region V will face off this week when first place Estill takes on second place Allendale-Fairfax. Last week, Estill bested Whale Branch, while the Tigers topped Denmark-Olar.
The Yellowjackets made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,462 from 12,489. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 37-6 victory over the Yellowjackets last week.
