Basketball Recap: Somerset College Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Somerset College Prep Academy lost against Somerset Academy - Canyons back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans were beaten by the Cougars 76-43. The loss was the Spartans' first of the season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was David Horne, who posted ten points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Lenz Constant, who scored five points and 17 rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Somerset College Prep Academy fell to 3-1. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Somerset College Prep Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-38 loss against King's Academy on the 2nd. As for Somerset Academy - Canyons, they have also already played their next contest, a 73-47 defeat against Palm Beach Central on the 2nd.
