Basketball Game Preview: Loretto Angels vs. Burges Mustangs

The Loretto Angels will face off against the Burges Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Loretto is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Canutillo just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 41-30 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burges). They breezed by Ysleta to the tune of 74-13 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Mustangs who have now won four contests in a row.

The victory got Burges back to even at 8-8. As for Loretto, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
