Softball Recap: Blue Valley North Takes a Loss

Blue Valley North and Derby squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Blue Valley North had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 6-4. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Addison Hull made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.

Blue Valley North's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Derby, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Blue Valley North does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Derby, they will take on Olathe West at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The Owls will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
