It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Horacio Romero came into the match on a mission. He wasn't messing around, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). The pitching appearance was his third straight with one or fewer earned runs.
