Volleyball Recap: Potosi Chieftains vs. Shullsburg Miners        
        
		
             Potosi was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They came up short against  the Shullsburg Miners, falling  3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chieftains of the  3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September.
 The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13,  25-20.
 Leading Shullsburg to victory were  Kallie Timmerman and  Evvie Ennis.  Timmerman  had four  aces and 18  assists, while  Ennis  had four  digs and 19  assists. The dominant performance gave  Timmerman a new career-high in  aces.
 Potosi's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Shullsburg,  the  win  got them back to even at 10-10.
 Potosi wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  victory against Cassville on the 10th. Shullsburg has also  already played their next game,  a  3-2  win against Belmont on the 10th.
