League recap: St. Joseph Catholic's league-best two wins lead to standings climb

St. Joseph Catholic outpaced the rest of the league this week, as its two total wins led the league. The Eagles beat Fayetteville 10-8.

Mitchell Allen was the top pitcher in TAPPS 3A District 7 this week, leading Logos Prep Academy. He racked up four strike outs this week.

The Lions boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

There were six hitters that batted over .400 in the league this week. Leading the pack was Jacob Ross, who hit .667 by going 2-for-3.



The week's strikeout crown belonged to Allen, who turned in four Ks for Logos Prep Academy. He's first in the league with 29 total strikeouts.
