Preview: Radford vs. James River
Radford have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will take on James River at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. The two teams have set a high bar for this match after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.
Radford might be getting used to good results now that the team has five wins in a row. They were the clear victor by a 53-20 margin over Floyd County. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-6.
Last Friday, James River put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Alleghany to the tune of 54-7. With James River ahead 47-7 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was close but no cigar for Radford as they fell 18-21 to James River the last time the two teams met. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
