Freeman is 9-1 against Sterling since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Freeman Falcons will be playing at home against the Sterling Jets. Freeman is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.

Freeman is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nebraska's top teams: Johnson-Brock, who was ranked 19th at the time (Freeman was ranked 11th). Freeman secured a 54-48 W over Johnson-Brock on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Sterling played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Tri County and fell 64-24. The Jets haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Freeman will need to focus on slowing down Owen Uher, one of several Sterling players who made an impact when they last played. He posted eight points.

Freeman's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25.9 points. As for Sterling, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-16.

Everything came up roses for Freeman against Sterling in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 59-18 victory. Does Freeman have another victory up their sleeve, or will Sterling turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
