Progreso put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Monte Alto Blue Devil get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Give the Red Ants' defense some credit: that's the team's fifth straight shutout.

Progreso pushed their record up to 24-0 with the victory, which was their 11th straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 86 goals over those 11 games. As for Monte Alto, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Progreso will face off against IDEA Edinburg College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
