Baseball Recap: Tupelo Golden Wave vs. South Panola Tigers

Tupelo won the last time they faced South Panola and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Tupelo Golden Wave came out on top against the South Panola Tigers by a score of 6-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Wave.

South McCoy made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
