Basketball Game Preview: St. George's Dragons vs. Reardan Screaming Eagles

The St. George's Dragons are taking a road trip to challenge the Reardan Screaming Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Wednesday, St. George's took a blow against Davenport, falling 56-25. The matchup marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kettle Falls typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Reardan proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 56-44. Given the Screaming Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 133rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Reardan and bumps their season record up to 16-2. As for St. George's, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

St. George's took a serious blow against Reardan in their previous matchup on January 4th, falling 61-33. Can St. George's avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
