Basketball Recap: Frost Comes Up Short

Frost has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a blow against the Lipan Indians on Tuesday, falling 78-20. While losing is never fun, the Polar Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 537th, while the Indians are ranked 47th).

Despite the loss, Frost saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ava Curl posted eight points and six rebounds.

Frost's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Lipan, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Frost wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 57-33 victory against Meyer on the 11th. As for Lipan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-40 win against Burkburnett on the 12th.
