Football Recap: Estill County Gets the Win + How To Watch

The Estill County Engineers earned a 24-14 win over the Montgomery County Indians on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Engineers.

Brody Mainous was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 68 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 120 yards on seven of 12 attempts. Those 68 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Estill County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Montgomery County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Estill County will welcome Magoffin County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Engineers will be up against the Hornets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Montgomery County, they will challenge Breathitt County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
