Soccer Game Preview: Westview vs. San Pasqual

The Westview Wolverines will head out to take on the San Pasqual Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Westview is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Poway on Thursday. Westview fell just short of Poway by a score of 2-1. One reason for the loss might be the Wolverines' aggressive play style: four Westview players were handed yellow cards.

Their goal came courtesy of Laith Khoury, who's now up to three this season.

Meanwhile, San Pasqual faced Del Norte in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Neither San Pasqual nor Del Norte could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The result kept the Golden Eagles happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 30, 2024.

Westview's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6-4. With that draw, San Pasqual's record moves to 14-3-3.
