 The Academy of Our Lady of Peace Pilots will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patrick Henry Patriots at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
 Last Friday, Academy of Our Lady of Peace earned  a  5-2 win over Mira Mesa. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Academy of Our Lady of Peace.
  Stefini Ma'ake made a splash no matter where she played. She  struck out 11 batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   five  hits. Ma'ake was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Alayna Ma'ake, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and a  double.
 Meanwhile, Patrick Henry was able to grind out a solid  victory over Clairemont on Wednesday, taking the game  6-3.
 Like Academy of Our Lady of Peace, Patrick Henry also got a great game from a two-way player:  Zoe Rutherford. On the mound, she  pitched six innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   four  hits. Rutherford was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Rutherford wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Belle Will, who  scored two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Izzy Ervin, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 Academy of Our Lady of Peace now  has a winning record of 8-7-1. As for Patrick Henry, their win bumped their record up to 13-9.
 Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging  on Friday. Academy of Our Lady of Peace hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season,  having  averaged 0.8  home runs per game. However, it's not like Patrick Henry struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 0.8. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
 Academy of Our Lady of Peace took their  victory against Patrick Henry  in their previous matchup  on April 10th by a conclusive  9-1. Will Academy of Our Lady of Peace repeat their success,  or does  Patrick Henry have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
