They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 13-5 walloping at the hands of the Lincoln-Way East Griffins. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Oswego East in their matchups with Lincoln-Way East: they've now lost three in a row.
Ronnie Craft made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Finley Anderson, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Oswego East's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Lincoln-Way East, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
