Basketball Recap: Environmental Charter Piles Up the Points Against Calvary Chapel Christian

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Environmental Charter). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Calvary Chapel Christian Lions 68-29. The Hawks pushed the score to 50-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions had little chance of recovering from.

Among those leading the charge was Caleb Dalton, who posted 18 points. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeydan Morant, who put up 11 points.

Environmental Charter's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Calvary Chapel Christian, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Hillel Academy the next time they take the court. Environmental Charter will host Hillel Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Calvary Chapel Christian will host them at 6:30 p.m. on January 27, 2025.
