Recap: Chambers Academy Rebels vs. Lakeside School Chiefs
The Chambers Academy Rebels had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They skirted past Lakeside School 36-33. The victory was just what Chambers Academy needed coming off of a 51-23 loss in their prior game.
Despite the loss, Lakeside School still got an impressive performance from Chloe Helms, who scored 19 points. That was a full 57.6% of Lakeside School's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Adalyn Helms, who scored eight points.
Chambers Academy's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10. As for Lakeside School, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
Chambers Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lakeside School at 6:00 p.m. As for Lakeside School, they will head out on the road to face off against Chambers Academy at 6:00 p.m. Chambers Academy is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
