Marist and Creekside squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Marist had to settle for second. They fell 54-43 to the Creekside Seminoles. The War Eagles' loss signaled the end of their 21-game winning streak.

C'India Dennis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Creekside, almost dropping a double-double with 30 points and nine boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Dennis has scored at least a third of Creekside's points. Sydnee Hunter was another key player, putting up four points and five assists.

Marist's defeat dropped their record down to 29-3. As for Creekside, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 31-0.

Marist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Creekside, they will take on Jackson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Creekside surely won't give up without a fight.
