Mission Bay had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to Cathedral Catholic and they left with a heavy heart again on Tuesday. The Mission Bay Buccaneers took a 69-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cathedral Catholic Dons. The Buccaneers' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Cathedral Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Steven Evans-Glynn, who went 8 of 14 on his way to 25 points and eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Carlson, who went 5 for 6 en route to 12 points.

Mission Bay's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Cathedral Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.
