Softball Recap: Liberty Ranch's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Liberty Ranch came tearing into Thursday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Bradshaw Christian Pride with a sharp 11-1 win. The Hawks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pride, too.

Laura Quinn looked comfortable as she struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Bella Granata, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Khali Barrantes, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
