Northwest fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Walter Johnson on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Northwest couldn't push the score so high this time.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for Walter Johnson, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Walter Johnson, they will face off against Kennedy at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
