Carlisle County gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Christian Fellowship Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Comets not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 13, 2024 (when they won 3-0).
Christian Fellowship is on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.
Looking ahead, Carlisle County will be playing in front of their home fans against Fulton City at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. The match will give the Comets their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Christian Fellowship, they will face off against Whitefield Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
