Troy won the last time they faced Athens and things went their way on Friday too. The Trojans strolled past the Wildcats with points to spare, taking the game 51-35. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Trojans' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Wildcats are ranked 220th).

The victory made it two in a row for Troy and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.5 points over those games. As for Athens, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Troy will take on Towanda at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Athens, they will head out to square off against North Penn-Mansfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
