After having lost a blowout in their previous game against International Academy, Morrice was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Beecher Buccaneers with a sharp 42-19 victory. The Orioles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 23 points or more this season.

Morrice moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Beecher, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Morrice and Beecher could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. Morrice will face off against Hamady at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 436 places (519 vs. 83). Meanwhile, Beecher (ranked 645th) will meet Genesee (ranked 306th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
