Soccer Game Preview: Stony Point vs. Manor

Stony Point is on a six-game streak of home losses, and Manor an 11-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Stony Point Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Manor Mustangs at 7:15 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Stony Point fell victim to Cedar Ridge and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Manor also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Round Rock on Tuesday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 615th in Texas, while the Dragons are ranked 11th in Texas).

Manor's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Stony Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.
