Baseball Recap: East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] Victorious

East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Barack Obama School for Social Justice Lightning, sneaking past 12-11. While the Titans didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The team relied heavily on Jayker Ogando, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Denys Rea, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

East Ramapo [Ramapo/Spring Valley] always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .515. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
