Football Preview: Northwestern Wildcats vs. Conneaut Area Eagles        
        
		
             Northwestern has played every game this season on their home field, but they'll have to hit the road  on Friday. They will venture away from home to  face off against the Conneaut Area Eagles  at 7:00  p.m. Northwestern will be strutting in after a  win while Conneaut Area will be coming in after a  loss.
 Northwestern will roll into the  match after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up seven  points  last Saturday, then bounced right back against Eisenhower  on Friday. Northwestern enjoyed a cozy  32-14 victory over Eisenhower. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  points they've scored all season.
 Northwestern's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Braden Swift, who threw for 151 yards and a touchdown on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 46 yards. The dominant performance gave  Swift a new career-high in  rushing yards. 130 of those passing yards were hauled in by Reese Gonzales, who also brought in a  receiving touchdown.
 Northwestern wouldn't let Eisenhower keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Northwestern can thank  Connor Kranz and  Jack Williams for forcing both of them.
 Meanwhile, Conneaut Area took a  blow against Titusville on Friday, falling  46-19. The Eagles have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  defeat, Conneaut Area got top-tier performance from   Joseph Furgiuele Iv, who rushed for 153 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 44 receiving yards.
 Northwestern's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  dating back to last season and  bumped them up to 1-3. As for Conneaut Area, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
