            Volleyball Preview: Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans vs. Newark Norsemen        
        
		
        
        
            Illinois Math & Science Academy is 0-6 against Newark since October of 2016 but things could change  on Tuesday. The Titans will be playing at home against the Norsemen  at 6:30  p.m.
On Monday, Illinois Math & Science Academy came up short against Joliet Central  and fell  2-0.
 While Illinois Math & Science Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20,  25-19.
Meanwhile, Newark entered their tilt with Prairie Central on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single  set of losing the streak, but they secured  a   2-1 W against the Hawks.
 It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Newark got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-13, 19-25,  25-22.
 Illinois Math & Science Academy better keep an eye on  Morgan Hergenhahn. She was instrumental in Newark's win,  getting 17  digs and two  aces. That's the most  digs  Hergenhahn has posted since back in September.
 Newark's victory bumped their record up to 28-4. As for Illinois Math & Science Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-19-1.
