Basketball Recap: Bishop Lynch Takes a Loss

Bishop Lynch and Prestonwood Christian squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Bishop Lynch had to settle for second. They were outmatched by the Prestonwood Christian Lions and fell 63-33. While losing is never fun, the Friars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 315th, while the Lions are ranked 69th).

Bishop Lynch's defeat dropped their record down to 16-16. As for Prestonwood Christian, they pushed their record up to 28-6 with the win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Bishop Lynch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prestonwood Christian, they will take on Liberty Christian at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
