The home team had come away the winner the last four times Friendswood and Texas City had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Mustangs never let the Stingarees get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Friday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by six runs or more this season.

Friendswood's victory bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Texas City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-9-1.

Coincidentally, Friendswood and Texas City will both be playing Iowa Colony the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Pioneers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Stingarees will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
