Basketball Recap: Ellieana Milford Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mccauley Christian Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Excel Christian Academy, Faith Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the McCauley Christian Academy Warriors with a sharp 46-20 win. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Faith Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ellieana Milford, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Milford has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Yulissa DelaRosa, who went 7-for-15 on her way to 14 points.

Faith Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 24 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for McCauley Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Faith Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 30-28 win against Mercy Prep Academy on the 21st. McCauley Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
