Pendleton's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Pendleton who was credited with the victory. Pendleton got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Belton-Honea Path Bears's six. This was payback for Pendleton, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Nolan Young was the driving force of Pendleton's attack as she scored both of Pendleton's goals, bringing her season total up to two goals.

Pendleton's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Belton-Honea Path, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
