Baseball Recap: Westmont Warriors vs. Santa Teresa Saints
Westmont had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 5-19-1 on Friday that streak is in the rearview. They never let the Santa Teresa Saints get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Warriors not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 8th (when they won 11-0).

Peyton Hines made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over seven innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Westmont is 2-1 when Hines posts three or more hits, but 3-18-1 otherwise.
In other batting news, Roman Soto was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Kainoa Raub, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.
