Desert Edge's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Paradise Valley Trojans as they made off with a 14-1 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Scorpions considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Makayla Dudley (2025) made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Dudley (2025) was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two RBI.

In other batting news, Desert Edge let Azerae Cantrell (2027) and Gwen Alvarez (2026) run wild.
